Played this course in the AM…first group out. Overall impression is that this course is a great little track. Starter gave us some pointers as this was our first time here and they definitely helped..super nice guy named Jim.

Greens – 8/10. Rolled nicely, only reason I won’t go higher is a few of them were inconsistent on speed, and a few had some leftover ball marks that any maintenance guy could have walked and fixed. Overall though, they were great.

Boxes – 7/10. In general they were solid. Few were on uneven lies so that’s why I knocked it down a couple ticks. Ground was hard on a couple but I don’t think thats the courses fault but when it’s hard to stick your tee in the ground it becomes the problem.

Fairways – 8/10. Also solid in a general sense. Once I finally got going and found a few fairways, they were soft and green. Only one was a little thin which I don’t think was too much of a problem.

Rough – 7/10. Definitely longer than the fairway grass but not too punishing. Rated down a couple spots due to some bare spots that could have been addressed.

Sand – 7/10. I’ll rank this based on the 1 bunker that I was in….sand was fluffy…too soft for me but definitely playable nonetheless.
