Greenskeeper.org Website Upgrade/Maintenance – Temporarily Using GK Blog

Sorry for the short notice, Greenskeeper.org will be undergoing a major upgrade/maintenance effective immediately. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. We will have our Golf Course Maintenance Alerts posted here on the GK Blog, please see the top navigation bar, Maintenance Alerts! Also for those of you that are writing golf course reviews, very appreciated, please e-mail them to me at golf@greenskeeper.org.

Please note to your Greenskeeper.org username/password will not work on the GK Blog, its a different service so please register with it separately.

In the meantime we will continue to have our GK Coupons available here on the GK Blog as well as GK Guru Deals.

We will also be very active with our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter Accounts.

Unfortunately our GK Score Tracker and Forums will not be functioning during the downtime.

Sorry again. Know we are working very quickly to restore an improved version of the Greenskeeper.org website as well as provide more content here on the GK Blog.

Thank You,

  1. I was thinking of playing Rancho Vista in Palmdale Saturday. What is the latest condition/maintenance for this course?

    Thank you very much,

    Darren

    1. Darren sorry for the late reply. Darrylofscv played the course back in March 2017. Here is the latest golf course review.

Course is visually appealing, but the maintenance staff need to be retrained and/or get new equipment. Fairways were poorly cut as you could feel as if you where in the rough. Greens were slow and bumpy with the majority of holes crowned and cup were badly installed causing the ball to bounce out on three occasions. Sand traps varied from good to hard pan with many rocks. POP was just over 4 hours, no cart person good customer service at check in but when I commented about conditions the afternoon person could care less saying that’s not his job.

If you have a chance to play this course please submit a golf course review to golf@greenskeeper.org. Thanks. GK Staff.

      1. Also

        ALERT: Aeration
Will be aerating the greens Sunday afternoon 9/11 and all day 9/12.
        * Although Greenskeeper.org researches all alerts before posting, we ask that you please contact the golf course for confirmation.

  2. what is going on? do we need to find another site?

    1. Gary, Thanks for your question and concern. As indicated we are currently undergoing a major renovation of the site. We will be up and running in no time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Regards, GK Staff.
