Just completed a round at Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course, a municipal course about 15 minutes south of Sacramento.

The course is well maintained, except for some bare spots in some fairways. The only negative is there is no Driving Range, only a net for hitting balls into. Not enough for me to get a good warm-up. The course is forgiving, but some some holes presents a challenge, especially the 17th hole, a Par 3 Island green.

The clubhouse and pro shop is combined.

The carts are a little old , but will get around the course with no problems.

Only saw a Marshall once, and no snack cart available, on this Monday.

This course is part of the Sacramento City owned courses, which includ Haggins Oak, Bing Maloney, and Willain Land Park.
