Golf Playing Conditions 7.55 GREAT

Played here today with a 7:06 GN “Hot Deal” for $45+fee and tax. Good deal! (My cart partner paid $75 and he plays the course every day.) Paired with three fun Canadians. We were first off the tee and finished in just under 4:00.

Course looks fantastic and carts are free to go anywhere post-overseed. The practice putting green was really smooth and running pretty quick, but the actual greens didn’t seem to be in quite as good of condition. They were still very smooth, but a little slower and a few had a tiny top dressing of sand. I don’t think the sand impacted anything, though. They were medium-slow and pretty firm. Fairways were mostly really lush, although some spots aren’t quite as lush. Same for the rough, which was about 1.0-1.5 inches deep. Tee boxes were great. I wasn’t in a bunker but they looked good.

Pretty fun course with tons of elevation changes. It gets tight in spots with houses on both sides of some holes, so accuracy is important. It’s definitely not a “destination” course, but it was far more interesting than some flatter courses around the area. It was fun and I would go back for sure. The 18th hole is a little funky with the green situated on top of a giant hill, where anything short could conceivably roll down about 40-50 yards and well below the green.

Recommended, especially at a deal price.
