Golf Playing Conditions 7.38 GREAT

Was able to grab a noon tee time on Jan 2nd, via @ $27 pre-paid fee. Ended up going out at as a single a few minutes early, with the starter letting me go ahead of a foursome, with their permission. 52 degrees at the start, on a lovely sunny day, with minimal wind. One of the best places to play in my humble opinion on a sunny day, even though it was chilly. Only warmed up a few degrees, but the sun kept me warm enough! Pace of Play (POP) ended up at 3.5 hours with minimal waiting and playing through 3 other groups. Nice way to start 2019!

The Review

Course conditions were very similar to when I played here a few months ago in September.

Tees were pretty good, just a few were a little damp from the rains a few weeks earlier. Fairways were cut short, decent roll, some soft spots, but very lush and green. Rough was about 1.5-2″, dense and a little penal – made sure to accelerate through impact.

Greens were firm but held good shots decently. Again, greens were nearly perfect looking, and rolled very true and medium-fast and slippery on the slopes/undulations. Not many ball marks at all to deal with, which was great.

In two bunkers, and they were well groomed, soft but damp sand.

Had a smile on my face all day. Just love playing here. Highly recommended.
