I used to play Tijeras Creek quite often because of it’s proximity to my home, but ever since they changed the “creek card” which provides very little incentive to purchase other than a $10 reduction in fees, I rarely frequent this course any longer, but when I was offered an invite from a friend which was also a “freebie” how could I refuse. Plus based upon the recent reviews I was excited to return.

The prior reviews are spot on as this course is clearly in the best condition I have ever seen it. Lush, green, well maintained, great bunkers and very nice greens. I may have to reconsider playing here more often again. The recent rains have not appeared to cause any damage, so let’s hope the predicted storms are equally as kind.

No issue with pace of play as we had an early time, but I can understand how this place can get bogged down as to pace, given the severity of some of the holes on the back nine, which I consider to be one of the best back nines in Southern California.
