Played mid-morning here today, second time I’ve played journey. I really like the layout of this course, there’s plenty of elevated tee shots with gorgeous views everywhere. Scenic creeks run through holes and there is plenty of water.

It’s definitely target golf, so if your game is not on, expect to lose a few balls.

Customer service is generally good here which is expected, from the bag drop to the starter. Range balls and a chipping area is included with your round. as mentioned in the previous review, tee boxes are a bit shaggy but you could always find a place to play from. Fairways are lush and in good shape, not dry don’t expect too much roll. rough is that thick, nice stuff, enough to grab your club or make you duff your chip. Bunkers were thick full of nice, white sand, unfortunately I was in 3 or 4 of them. Greens were running quick, a lot of crazy undulation on these, 10 and 18 come to mind. Leave yourself underneath the hole.

Expect a workout and a challenge, this isn’t your typical resort course, but I always enjoy when I can get out here.
