Inspired by Larry’s recent review, plus the great senior rate and relative closeness to home, back out to Westridge. I’ve always enjoyed playing here because there are a nice mix of holes, some real birdie opportunities (Although I made only one) but also some tough holes.
I don’t find the holes redundant, a nice variety coupled with the elevation changes
Conditions were pretty much what I expected after reading Larry’s recent review. Greens rolled quicker than they looked, which is my preference. Fairways generally good, with a few issues, bunkers were well maintained with nice amount of sand.
Staff here is always friendly and accommodating. $40 w/cart to play anywhere in Orange County is a good deal. There frequently seems to be mixed reviews about this course, but I find it a fun, interesting course to play, which if you can keep your ball in play, does not beat you up yet provides enough of a a challenge to keep your interest.
