Goose Creek Golf Club Worth the Green Fee 2018 - Inland Empire

Goose Creek Golf Club Awarded Worth the Green Fee 2018 for Inland Empire

Congratulations to Goose Creek Golf Club winning Worth the Green Fee 2018 Award for the Inland Empire.

Worth the Green Fee,” unlike the Best Playing Conditions Award, is awarded to golf courses open to the public listed on Greenskeeper.org that stand out above the rest with our site users at providing a consistent, quality golf experience at an outstanding price.

Golf is expensive.  It doesn’t have to be.  All you have to know is where to play to get your best value and that’s something Greenskeeper.org excels.  In addition to helping golfers decide where to play their next round of golf based on reviews, ratings, and maintenance alerts, we’ve recently introduced our GK Coupons service to extend golf course deals directly to our golfing community.

How Awards Winners Are Determined

Golf Course reviews and ratings submitted by our 72,000+ Greenskeeper.org community are tabulated over 12 months. Winners are determined for each area.

We divide awards into 11 sections —  Inland Empire, Los Angeles County, Orange County, Palm Springs Area, San Diego County, Santa Barbara County, Ventura County, Southern California, Central California, Northern California and Southern Nevada.

Golf Playing Conditions 7.36 GREAT
Golf Playing Conditions 7.36 GREAT

It’s not like it’s a hidden gem as it’s so often reviewed on Gk, but dang it’s hard to get over how good Goose Creek is. Was a little bit pricey at $92 for a Sat morning round on a windy day but course conditioning is as good as it gets for a public course in the Inland Empire. Make that anywhere.

Nice green fairways, well tended bunkers with soft sand and smooth greens all throughout. I always enjoy the ample fairways and subtle difficulty of this course, especially on and around the greens. Attentive Marshall ensured good pace of play (<4 hrs) and we saw the beverage cart several times during our round. Had nice cup of chili after the round.

The consistency at which Goose Creek delivers a good product every time we play there is something I wish would be replicated at other area courses. Hats off!
