Stopped by Thursday to have my clubs re-gripped.

At the time the course allowed walking only but decided to go out Friday. The course drained well. I could not even hear water as you drove on the rough or along the fairway. There were areas roped off for water but personally, I never had to take a casual water drop. Greens were smooth. They were as you would expect speed-wise, fast downhill and slow uphill.

Weather was a nice bonus and the sky was clear. It was just a nice day for golf.

Played today with Itslikeimsayin- thank you Mark, for sharing that great deal. Wow, it was windy today! It was quite a challenge locating the balls among all the leaves and debris in the fairways. Mark summed up the conditions well, so I’ll just add a couple of comments. I was happy to see that all the vegetation has been cleared out of the ditch on #6. Just being dirt and some mud, it was much easier to get out of. #5 still has a temporary green and there was a crew doing quite a bit of work on #9. I was in the rough many times, but the ball sat up well and some of my best shots were from that nice cushion. This is a fun course and pretty long from the forward tees with a par 73. Despite the wind, I did well and look forward to playing there again.

Not just one point of view but many, and by providing many different points of view you get a clearer picture of what each golf course has to offer. To that end we felt it necessary to provide regions with their own highlighted golf course. Local players can enjoy the fact there is a great facility they can play just around their corner. Golfers looking to experience new golf courses can play these and experience first-hand these unique golf experiences. Put simply, we allow not just your high-end. daily fee courses to shine but the local municipal as well. They all deserve a fair shot and they all deserve to shine.

We divide Southern California into 11 sections — Inland Empire, Los Angeles County, Orange County, Palm Springs Area, San Diego County, Santa Barbara County, Ventura County, Southern California, Central California, Northern California and Southern Nevada. Golf Course reviews and ratings submitted by our 75,000+ Greenskeeper.org community are tabulated over 12 months. Winners are determined for each area. We provide the list below in no particular order. This is done on purpose. We believe that every golf course that provides outstanding value to their region should not overshadow other golf courses simply because of their location. We understand the golfing public mostly stay within their geographic boundaries. Knowing where to play in your area is important.
